I have no intention to watch this movie, but it was X'mas, and my ticket was bought as well. What else I can do? Pay the ticket and hang at home? Nay... Better sleep in the cinema. At least got cool air in there.
The movie started on time.
AB: "No voice one ar?"
A friend of mine spoke out in a pin drop quiet environment. A Auntie in front starred me.
AH: "Later maybe no colour as well.."
(A moment later)
AB: "Wah! Really no colour!"
The auntie starred at me again. I just smiled at her.
Not a bad movie overall. But I really do prefer KungFu Hustle than this one. Opera... for me, just like western style "DA XI" on the stage in Chinese,or for movie style, it just like those "SAN GE". (Mountain Song)
Singing here and everywhere... keeping me awakes...

Do you remember the classic games?
The classic games! I like them a lot. I still remember the time we need to use the flat floppy disc to installs some 2D games. The games graphics were of course very simple and the sound was also almost monotonous.
Anyway, those 8 or 16bits 2D games are too far from our new generation to know about their appearances. They might remember some about Donkey Kong, Mario, and what so ever.
Let's see how 1up.com listed out the 50 Essential Classic Games in the past 10 to 20 years.

Busy Time, Tough Life.
I missed alot of interesting events and dates lately. My second go-kart race, my friend's birthday party, outgoing to the mothernature for fireflies viewing, and alot more...
Why? Workloads of course. Busy is making my life so dull that even I could imagine how boring and constant life I am having. Everyday 9 morning to campus and back after 6 or 7 evening, consuming the same lunch meal at the same cafeteria, having the same headache of what to eat for my dinner, and struggling from laziness to do revision and studies... Oh...
Gonna get back to work...
This blog is out... for a month maybe...
It might have some updated stuff anyway. But I pressume it won't have any interesting stuff instead of my mumbling... haha...
Life is tough. So am I.

Davors Top 10 Favorites PC Games List
I think most guy likes PC Games. So am I. Especially someone living kinda dull as an Engineering undergrad student like me. Everyday reports, assignments, test and so on. What else I can do to have a break in such busy schedule and such short time interval for rest? certainly not sleep, nor disco, nor any other expensive and luxirious relaxation activities... :) PC Games is my only choice.
Ok! Here goes my Top 10 List:
1.FIFA
>> Hmmm... my most favorite games of all... since Fifa97, I started to be fond of this game. The best time I managed to be more "mastering" this game was the Fifa02,03,& 04 series. Just amazingly I went to participated in WCG for the previous two years for Fifa03 and 04. Result? Die la. HAHA!
2.Max Payne
>> Hmmm... love it for both 1st and 2nd episode... the stories in the games were so fancy and interesting. Most like the voice of Max that is so undertone and sexy. HAHA. Don't worry. I ain't Gay.
3.Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
>> Simply love it when the AI of the game is better than human being. Tough one.
4.Metal Gear Solid
>> Spending more time to listen the story than playing the games. The story and conversation just really take a long time. I concentrate and listen the chatting at the beginning of the game, but after a while... just forget it...
5.Romance of the 3 Kingdoms
>> Hmmm... always the same mission to conquer the "World"(TianXia)2000years ago. I like to create my own warriors and advisers, start as a new sovereignty. Hard in the beginning. When you know the tactics, use it all the way and the "World" is simply a piece of cake.
6.Hitman
>> A really tough game if you play for "professional" or above level since you will have limited "save game" chances or not any for a mission. You can simply play around, firing like rambo and killing all the good or bad guys to accomplish. Or, you wanna be really a silent assassin, which takes time and effort to get through a mission without firing a single bullet in one'e forehead.
7.Splinter Cell
>> Havent try the 2nd Series!!! Ah! My laptop graphic card just can't support it.
8.Half-Life
>> It just took too long time for the 2nd series to released. I waited since started the 1st one, for years. By the way, it should be a nice game. Just bought it few days ago but havent try it.
9.GTA
>> A evil game that make someone to learn to be evil. Crashing and killing without mercy is what its all about in the game.
10.CM / TCM
>> Ah... a tough game as well if you play Pro. Always get sacked. Gonna figure out the proper way to play. HEHE!

Everything takes time
Life is like deja vu. Everything is impermanent and imperfect. Even when the sun rise, the shadows faded away.
It had been really a hard time for my friend to what had happened -- broke up.
sometimes relationship is something really really fine, which always causes to be all adrift. Everyone knows how to tackles it using the correct way, when it happens to someone around them. Meanwhile, they are able to be considerate of someone but never put their own's legs into one's shoe, to taste the real experience and feeling.
How will you do if someone told you that she is really in a bad mood, serious problems happened, and out of one's wits...
I would send "sms", tell her to takecare.
How will you react if someone told you that she is very upset, that you're not able to help, and maybe just wanna lean on your shoulders to cry...
I would call her, asking for the truth and offer helps.
How will you behave if someone told you that she is very suffering, having insomnia, and crying all the night...
I would not reply. She need a rest.
You can't really tell too much to a lovelorn person. He/she would not able to listen to anything. His/her brain and mind and memory is having some sort of rapid spinning. Fast and furious. Climax to overcast.
Life is then like a movie drama film. After a certain period of time or a certain moment, you'll tend to rewind and replay what happened during that interval. You are helpless that you're not able to do anything to solved it, since you're not willing to faced it. And you started for an isolation. You keep on rewind and replay, sob and endlessly weep and wail. Still, you have no idea, and you think its bad.
*view this article*
Life is like deja vu; but deja vu isn't your life.
Curing from an extreme sadness is always like faith and believing in a religion --
it's ABSOLUTE, that we shall not question it. Stated:
Takecare. "I don't want!"
Faced it. "Why!?"
Forget it. "How could I?"
Stand up. "You must be kidding."
Enrich yourself. "Forget it"
Meanwhile, some "cults" will have evil states:
"Oh.. good la.. single is better."
"Nevermind la.. find a new one la."
"Can't sleep mer? eat pills la."
"Aiya.. Who never broke up?"
"I knew it." (wickedness)
Everything takes time.

Dull... again...
Life’s pretty dull and boring these few days, i gonna tackle for a test, 2 assignments and 2 laboratory reports in a week or 2.
I really thought that Uni life shouldn't be that stressful, but it just does.
Maybe it is my way to suit Uni living isn't heat up that fast as the others did.
However, I would try up and search for a better way of living.

Anyone wanna fly with me?
When we're too busy and too pressure in our daily life, we'll think of escaping.
Escaping from anything and everything that compress our mind, our stressful life, and restricted vision. We became more tiny and tiny, until puny and unimportant.
When we're too easy and too free in our daily life, we'll, too, think of escaping.
Escaping from anything and everything that depress our logical thoughts, our vigorous trust, and unbordered boredom. We became slower and slower, until puny and faded away.
This is not the way it should be. As for a string that strain too much, it will break; as it is too slack, it will not play. We should be in betwwen.
Then, I thinking of flying away. Flying up into the sky, into the cloud, along with the birds, beyond the mountains and streams, surrounded by empty space. Slowly, we become tiny, and more tiny, and faded away.
When we're back, we learn to be more appreciated. Appreciated in everything, everything that wouldn't be long and lasting. As in Heart Sutra, "Form is empty, Emptiness is form." Which means of impermanent.
So, Live and Let Live. And,
We shall have a better life.

Squeezing in Light Rail Transit
AAow MAN!!! What the Hxxk!
This was my first reaction when I am going to Uni using the PUTRA LRT.
AAow DAMN!!! What the Fxxk!
This was again my reaction when I am going back using the PUTRA LRT.
I wonder WHY K.L. is having such a "pony" rail transit system in a packed city. I thought it is worse on the road, but the LRT is just near with it. As bad as it is.
A 32-40 seats compartment is squeezed with 200 over passengers, and only 2 compartment per rail for each schedule time. I wonder they know how to count the ratio. If they do, I suppose they're trying to create a massive metropolitan surroundings like Tokyo, HongKong, NewYork... ? Else, why don't they add more compartments during the busy peak hour? Maybe we should ask our dear PM to take LRT to work, or drive himself to work without traffic police to carve out a way, then he will be considerate of the KL caboodle.

Email to Prof Brian Tuck
Reached UNiM around 910am. I am not late today instead I came too early for my 10am class. But what the heck~~! I forgot to bring my little cute ID CARD! And then I was told I am not able to pass through the entrance without one.
something bad happned...
I wrote an email, and sent it to the head of engineering division, Prof Brian Tuck.
The email and the reply from Prof Brian Tuck is as follows:
"""
From: Brian Tuck
To: Ren-Si Ooi
Date: 10/21/04 11:43AM
Subject: Re: ID Issue
Dear Ren-Si
I agree with you that our rules must apply equally to everyone here. The situation you have described is unacceptable. I am copying this e-mail to both Paul Boardman and Brian Atkin with a request that they take the matter up with the security company. The fact that you have given a precise time for the offence is helpful.
Professor Brian Tuck
>>> Ren-Si Ooi 10/21/2004 11:07:27 AM >>>
Good Morning Prof Brian Tuck,
Regarding the ID issue (Failing to present the ID is not allowed to enter the building), I have something to talk about it.
Today morning, I have a class on 10am and I arrived to UNiM around 9.10am. Then I found out that I didn't bring my ID card and thus disallowed to enter UNiM. A paper sheet of ID rules was shown to me. So, I decided to call my housemate to bring my ID card from home in SETAPAK.
As I was waiting, I saw a Master Student came out through the enterance using someone else ID who was going out too. I wonder how he went in before this, as I heard he said he didn't bring his ID. A few minutes later, that Master student went in UNiM again, without his own card, when the security guard scanned his card to let him in.
I felt so bad, unfair and ridiculous when I was viewing all this. As I was OBEYING the Rules, the security guard BROKES it. I approached the security guard and questioned him about his unfair action. He pointed to Miss Receptionist (Wati) and called me to ask her. Few moments later, I asked Wati about this and she pointed to the guard called me to ask him. She added that the rules is to obey. Miss Wati temper is hot today and react unpolitely. However, I understand her situation that since she is in Fasting, maybe her "mood" isn't that good. Hence, I don't blame her for that.
The main point of this email is that, I hope all student and staff will be treated in a FAIR manner. I could have borrow a card from my friends around to enter, but I DIDN'T. Because I read the rules and OBEY them. I hope the guard do the SAME THING.
Something I wish to add here. Paying a RM20 "Fine" for a visitor pass to enter is a very harsh punishment. RM20 is almost my daily expenses. I hope students are EDUCATED to wear the ID, and not PUNISHED hardly to wear it.Of course, I wear it everyday, every single moment in UNiM.
Thanks for your concern.
Have a nice day!
Regards,
OOI REN SI
CC: Brian Atkin; Paul Boardman

Hmmm... I'm really appreciated for Prof Brian Tuck's lightning fast reply and concern on the issue. hope things will improved...

Free Finally!
Just submited the laboratory report! Finally I am free again! Spent too much time on a 10pages report, but I think it should be ok. After reading damn a lot articles and references online and books, a little report was generated. I'm a little regret of using my time like this, I should "waste" so much time and effort on a rated 7 1/2 point in final exam, while abandoned all my tutorial and revision time...
Hmmm... maybe... just copy and paste and modify from others next time...

Kart Night! Oh Shit!
I arrived early at the kart circuit. No one around except some staffs working there. The so-called "Xtreame Park" is really good there. The track is large, but dim in my opinion. It should be better to add more spotlight with correct position.
The karts I snapped were some new karts and they're not ready to put on tracks yet. However, they certainly look nice.
Posted by davors at 14:48 0 comments
Me: "What's wrong with ya? Don't bang my rear will ya?"
Yet, i keep on banging the kart in front of me, and then I find out the kart I am in had no brakes.
Posted by davors at 14:33 0 comments
I was on a damn number 8 backup kart after I find out the number 2 kart I jumped in was lack of braking system. It was a nice and excellent experience on kart but it was a lousy race day for me.
I was placed last 3 at the starting position. When the race began, I managed to pursue and overtake some karts in front of me. ( approx. 6-7 in front ) I noticed that I was probably 2nd or 4th in position although it was a lap time race.
However, nightmare arrived after the 3rd lap. Some buggers keep on crashing and hitting my rear. I try to drive faster but finally drifted at a curve cornering. After that, I try to pursue back my position but just failed. I keep on drifted and glided on some curves.
Ended position like the starting position -- 3rd ---> from the last...
HAHAHA!!! 57.xx seconds for my fastest time. The fastest timethat night was 49.xx. WOW! Gonna work something on it to be better...

Go-Kart Night Race
Tonight I'll have a go-kart race. The race will be held in one of the biggest go-kart track in Malaysia, Sunway X-Tream Park, Sunway Go-Kart Track.
It should be something interesting I guess but I really hope it will be exciting and agitated to everyone there. It will somehow be a race of Best Time Lap for all the racers, instead of racing like the normal one. However, this might causes the competition to become a little stuffy. I really do prefer a race to be like a "real" race, where racers pursue one and another to the first position. Yet, it is not so possible for the race tonight since we aren't proffesional kart-racers. No one can guarantee the safety of the race, so no one would risk their lives and their money in case of an unwanted accident. I'm not so worry about the accident stuff since I do have some experience in go-kart racing. But no doubt, we shall never know how all the other racers will perform. I heard that some, or should be MOST of the racers tonight is having their debut race and debut attempt on go-kart. So, it would be better to race on the Best Lap Time.
RM28 for 10minutes drive and RM4 for the electronic timing system. A fair price? Indeed. It is much cheaper compared to the normal rate. But if you count in the so-called "members fees" of RM30, you gonna spend more to lower the loss.
Anyway, I don't care much about the money stuff especailly when dealing with such entertaining sport game. We should enjoy in the game, and ignore all the cost charged. Lets look forward what is going to happen tonight...
Let's ROLL!!!!!

Ill in Melaka
I was in Melaka around 2nd October. And I was really ill. Suffering high fever, flu, cold, sore throat, headache, dizziness... I can't believe I drove there myself.
Things became worse as I reached there. I am totally sick and I can do nothing but the lie on a bed. I can do nothing but succumb to the devil of illness.
"What am I doing there?" I asked myself, since that I should be catch up with my project proposal and loads of homework at home! Why I need to suffer here, drove everyone to the destination and stuck in the hotel room?
I was in ill-conditioned. I suppose a sick person won't think in a logically, wisely and considerably manner. I certainly not the odd one.
Sightly recovered on the next day.I took this picture inside the hotel elevator.
Sickness, will never weaken the "davors spirit" to take pictures...

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
When we talk about Elton John, I first think about that he's Gay.
When we talk about his song, which one you would probably love the most?
"Candle in the Wind"? "Sacrifice "? "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word"? "Can You Feel The Love Tonight"?
Among all the Greatest, I am more fancy on "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". One may be pop up asking :
"What song is this?" or maybe "Did he sang this?"
Hmmm... I ain't going to answer a bad questions like these...
Maybe a simple question of "WHY?" is a question it should be.
Lyrics by Bernie Taupin
GoodBye Yellow Brick Road
""When are you gonna come down
When are you going to land
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man
You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing the blues
So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough
Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road
What do you think you'll do then
I bet that'll shoot down your plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again
Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground""
This song is just like telling a long long story, of everyone.
From a beginning until an end.
How we made effort on something, took actions and held the results.
What are we going to do next if we know the future of ourself.
Why are we be in such a hurry, rushing up and doing, since we know how it ends.Hmmm... it's too late for me to tell you how I feel what's imply in the song. I wanna sleep.
Find it yourself ok? I bet you could.

Life without a camera
Life without camera is hard for me. It might be something normal to most people since they don't care so much about it. They're probably so busy and stick on their daily packed schedule. I saw a lot people walking on streets, with different faces but similar numb phiz. You rarely found any expressions on their faces.
They look at the time to make sure they aren't late, sign boards for direction, building, traffic lights, cars, streets...
They listen to music from their mp3 players, car honks and engine roaring, ring tones...
They answer to strangers who were asking for direction, someone on the handphone, talkative colleague and salesman...
They whiff to the dangerous "2nd-hand" smokes and exhaust gases, promoted perfume, fart in an elevator...
They touch each another by shaking hands, fighting, molestation...
They think of vacation, being rich in near future, beautiful babes on their couch...
Life without camera in a vision city like KL is a nightmare. No one is that sensitive to their surroundings. They keep on viewing the world via papers, books, website, and imagination.
One would never know how Red is a repeating stop traffic light, how Golden Yellow is every highrise building under the early sun shine, how Blue is our sky above the cloud and smog, how Green is a huge old banyan tree at the corner, how White is the snaggletoothed smiling sweet to us?
Our vision is numb to all surroundings?
Another day past.
Our sight is nothing but deja vu of our own's memory?
Another life's samsara goes on, and on, and on....
Ah! I need a camera!

Boring!!!
Tuesday in NU. Class starts on 9am till 6pm with just an hour of lunch break. What a schedule that make studying so so dull.
I feel a bit baldness with the surroundings. And I do feel that I was probably the "minority" that were having such matter.
I found someone similar to myself. A guy, with his Teh Tarik alone. I left everyone at Hi Tea to the library. No mood to chit chat. He did the same.
a Lousy Day...

Manner Issue
Finally I able to spend some time to collect my diploma cert. in TARC. I didn't have the camera with me but I am not going post it here even I have it. Haha... Why? I am just a little sand compared to all the Bachelor and Doctorate holders around here. By the way, a diploma cert really not so "BIG" for me.
What I wanna talk about is the "Manner" attitude problems in our servicing sector. An education sector is SO essential to send a message to all our hot prospect going to join in the community. So the basic politeness shouldn't be a issue that failed in an education section.
Unfortunately, TARC is desperately struggling in this stuff. Most of the staff are probably working under-stress or under-paid situation. I doubt it was probably their attitude rather than others. Their faces are so hard-shelled just like a corpse. You hardly find a beam on on their faces. However, there're a few (really few) who are so nice to intercourse and to chat with. I can't recollect now but I will find out their name, someday.

Registration in NU
Woke up around 10am. I should be earlier since I need to go Nottingham University in KL for all the registration procedures. It started around 9 but I decided not to go such early since slept late before that.
Paid another 4Ringgit parking fees. Owning a land in KL is simple a wealth decision. Just make parking your business and it has high profit returns.
Then walked a 50m distance to NU.
I thought there won't be many of them who going to register since the fees is quite high compared to other Uni and Colleges... But seems I was wrong, wrong big. The place was crowded, with lots of people, some to register, some just accompany, and some were the staff working. They looked just nice to me since everyone like smiling along their way. Maybe smiling is something you should be doing when facing lots of strangers, especially foreigners. :) And I smile big. "HAHA!"
After briefing along the scene, everything went bored. Just queueing and keep that on. Different processes and procedures had to be done. But they just took, or I should express my anger like this, WASTED too much time! Dammit. That was something bad and surely don't impresses me on their management on this. Everything just gone un-smooth whats more terrible was the weak air-conditional system. It was HOT inside the building.
Spent nearly 4 hours there. Most were queueing and waiting. Hmmm... they should had took care of us BETTER.

Prep for Nottingham Uni
Hmmm.. Finally! Or I should said here comes, the begin of another new study life of mine in Nottingham Uni. It's friday today and I think it might be the last easygoing friday after my "long vacation" from my one year plus abandoned studies. Enrolling for the 2nd Mechatronics Degree Year this coming Monday, 13rd Sept.
I pressume the first day gonna be just paying up the fees and a brief introduction to the Uni. The 2nd day... hmmm... maybe just briefing from the lecturers and tutors... so-called orientation day? I skipped my previous one in TARC and this time, maybe not. Why? simply because I think of the expensive fees i paid, compared to TARC, I am really interested to know what the heck will be going on during that day. It should be much more interesting than the one in TARC i suppose, because there will be foreigner students, from e.g. HK, China, Indon, Thai and even Iran. Haha! Just curious why they choosed M'sia.
Another thing that I concern, which is how many student will be there in my class? Mechatronic, an alien word of most layperson, just might not be a choice for most. Perhaps I am going to disappointed, thats for sure I assume.
Listed a detail check-list of what to bring. Going to stay temporary at some friends house before searching a suitable and comfortable room around KL. Hmmm... certainly a lonely journey to stay there since everyone there is going back home after the finals in TARC. What a coincident, and a pity news for myself. Staying alone in a big house, facing the walls, talking maybe just by typing in the laptop screen, and having every single meal alone? one certainly won't feel good. But that's what I need to encounter.
Nay! I already used to it when I was alone in a room, studying for my finals in TARC. But I remembered it was sucks!
Darn it... Who knows what will happen? Let's see about it later.

Hungry Ghost Festival
Oh My God... Everything were on FIRE!!!!! As I reached the scene of the so-called "Hungry Ghost Festival" event... I missed all the burning of paper-made god-like statues, and the fire-works, and... everything that to set on fire... oh... what a nightmare as I waited this for so long... I just thought they're probably going to burn everything in the mid-night... It was 30minutes before that when I reached... Darn... really darn... haha... <

Missed the sacrificing session... Hmmm... too bad... too woeful... so I walked around. The setup stage was still in liveliness at late night, with girls performing singing and dancing... lots of fellow still hanging around there... watching the show (or the sexy girls?)... I have no interest on that (honest) so maybe some other thing may be nice to distract myself from... ermmm... whatever... I spotted an old uncle selling "Stinky Taufu" (Chou Dou Fu) and I approached him... Just try on some... It's far from good... It's stink... and I really mean it...

Just an article
Read something nice on a paper. It was a chinese article, so i roughly translated them.
1. The moment I jumped down, I saw A-Dai couple, who love God, were having a fistfight on the 10th floor.
2. I saw Peter on the 9th floor, who was usually tough, crying on the sneak.
3. A-mei on the 8th just discovered her fiance on the bed with her best friend.
4. DanDan on the 7th was having some pills of anti-hypochondria.
5. Unemployed AhXi on the 6th was still searching jobs on 7 different newspapers everyday.
6. Mr.Wong on the 5th floor, a regarded teacher, was secretly trying on his wife's brassiere.
7. Rose on the 4th was again having quarrel with her boyfriend.
8. Uncle on the 3rd floor still hoping someone to visit him everyday.
9. Lily on the 2nd floor, still starring at her husband's photo, who had ran away after half year marriage.
10. Just before I jumped , I thought I was the world's most hapless one.
11. Now I realised that everyone have their own personal puzzledom.
12. After looking at them I profoundly felt that my life was actually not that bad.
13. Those who I looked at were now looking at me now.
14. I think after they saw me, they would feel their life was actually not that bad, too. <

Dinner in Petaling Street
Petaling Street... a place you should NEVER miss in a Metropolis like Kuala Lumpur. It is sort of ChinaTown but the local Chinese attempt to ignore and reject such naming... :D simply politics...
A place to eat, wander, shop, and have fun. Lots of pirated and cheap stuff to buy there...
Just a reminder here: Beware of pickpockets...

A guy, probably a hired foreigner, stir-frying a full cauldron of chestnut... you certainly can't miss the smell when you pass by... should give this food a try if you never tasted before.. :D

the "air mata kucing"... going to finish and my friends quickly "tapao" (pack) for the last few packages... it is a popular stall there where almost everyone will stop by and have a cool drink under such hot atmosphere...

Finished a Game
Playing for at least accumulate 24hours or more for the new "Romance of the 3 Kingdom 10thseries". Finally conquer the whole Mainland... It is absolutely something nice although I played japanese version. You might not get used to some occasion or don't understand some sentences. However, it was fine with me since it doesn't vary alot from the previous version. Nice game overall... :)
