Life in Whirlpool

Things happen so fast...
Things pass so rapidly...

Everything seems like turning round and round...
Turning into a whirlpool...

I must be tough...
Tough enough to escape from the whirlpool...

And decide my direction and destination...

"My First Lotus? or Last?"

There are certainly some reasons for the Top Gear team (Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond) to give comments (criticization) on our new Proton Savvy...

"It's not a sports car, but certain elements have been engineered into the car that'll give you a taste of what it's like to drive one of the world's best handling vehicles," said Proton Group CEO Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff. "We'd like to think of it as 'My First Lotus'"

Who ask our dear CEO to say something so absurd?

Wanna know how the LOTUS look like?

Lotus Exige

Lotus Elise

Hmmmm... Savvy has no where near to Lotus... in my view... :)

    Engineer Jokes

    How to travel without Tickets?

Three engineers and three accountants are traveling by train to a conference. At the station, the three accountants each buy a ticket and watch as the three engineers only buy one ticket.

"How are three people going to travel on only one ticket?" asks an accountant.

"Watch and you'll see," answered an engineer.

They all board the train. The accountants take their respective seats but all three engineers cram into a rest room and close the door behind them.

Shortly after the train has departed, the conductor comes around collecting tickets. He knocks on the restroom door and says, "Tickets, please!" The door opens just a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand. The conductor takes it and moves on.

The accountants see this and agree it is a clever idea. So after the conference, the accountants decide to copy the engineers on the return trip and save some money.

When they get to the station, they buy one ticket for the return trip. To their astonishment, the engineers don't buy a ticket at all.

"How are you going to travel without a ticket?" says one perplexed accountant.

"Watch and you'll see," answered an engineer.

When they board the train all three accountants cram into a restroom and the three engineers cram into another one nearby. The train departs.

Shortly afterward, one of the engineers leaves his restroom and walks over to the restroom where the accountants are hiding. He knocks on the door and says, "Tickets, please!"

    Playing with Face Analyzer

I was too boring, surfing around the website, in searching for some fun stuffs.

Then I found a quite fun stuff called Face Analyzer.
It is something like... you need to post a nice and clear potrait of yourself, and then the system will perform the race analysis, personality and celebrity match.

So I started to post some photos of mine for the analyzer to check the result. It is not a simple one as majority of the pictures i submitted were turned down.

After several attempts, i had the first success one...
But when i look at the result... it was like... errghhh!!! Shock!
What? I am a combination races of 67% Southern European and 33% of Anglo Saxon...
I even don't know what the heck is that "Anglo Saxon" race?
And thus i check my dictionary...
    This is what i get : -
"A member of one of the Germanic peoples, the Angles, the Saxons, and the Jutes, who settled in Britain in the 5th and 6th centuries"
Oh i see... i am an Old English now...
    Celebrity match? Vladimir Putin!

    What la...
I am going to try it again...
And this is what i get : -

    more details

Hmmmm... race.. still not a Chinese...
What now? 17% East Indian and 83% Middle Eastern... Oh... Now i join the Al Qaeda i guess...
But the celebrity match is better now...
as you can see in the pic, John Travolta. Wahaha!

There are many celebrity match selections in their database... and there are some famous Chinese, like Andy Lau, Bruce Lee, Chow Yun Fat, Faye Wong, Jackie Chan, Jacky Cheung, Jet Li.... etc...

Ok la... you go have fun with it... if you're too bored...

    Masterpiece of the Engineering

Art take place everywhere? Engineering can do it better!
What I really think about engineering? something overwhelming ...
There is the fascination of watching a figment of the imagination emerge through the aid of science to a plan on paper.

But Oh No!! Why are engineers wearing the label of "BoRiNg"???

Hey!!! See what engineers contribute science for arts?

    choochoo-train.... booo booo....

    a v8 engine.... Vrooooooom...

    camera...

Engineers aren't boring people, we just get excited over boring things.

    Long to See Again

    繁忙的交通,拥挤的人潮,塞不著我思念的心。
    望向没有目的的远处… 遥远的星星,遥远的街灯,遥远的思念,遥远的你。

    再拥挤的城市,还是可以轻易感到空虚的;
    热闹的灯光不停闪烁,却仍然有许多寂静的角落。

    回家吧
    被窝是温暖的,孤单也躲在里面

    没有美梦的睡眠,会不会就像没有爱情的人生?

    Bad Form

    Hmmmm...

Everything seems to be in bad form.
I mean... the gadgets and all stuffs i need to use...
Either they're not fit, or not functioning, or not stable, or not sufficient...
Money and effort is the solution... Aiii...
    Let me list them out...

    External CDRW
What problem? I think is the adapter or maybe the cdrw is not receiving the power, since the power indicator is flickering... expired on mid August...

    Laser Printer
Stupid printer keep on stating that it had a paper jam situation when it is not... headache...

    Internal Laptop CDRW
I wonder it is the reader lense dirty or what... gonna buy a "cleanser" see whether it will settle the problem...

    Insufficient HDD
Old laptop with 30GB really can't fit... left around 0.5G and need to always clear out something... Now burner failed to function... what else to do? no more downloads.... :(

    Coffee Maker
Hmmmm... the coffee maker is looking fine from the outside but it is already having serious rustness inside... it is still safe to use it?

    Hmmmm... what else?
I guess not, and I hope not...
Else you'll need to spend time to send it for a repair, and maybe, worst case, pay for a new one...

WCG Fifa 2005 Rules Went Handicap

I am ready and being prepared to participate in WCG for a long long time.
Meanwhile one of a friend from a forum, who is participating soon told be that the "Off the Ball" control button is banned!
I am so shock to hear this.
I quickly go check out the truth... and unfortunately, it is true...

    One of the rule stated:

"Use of Off the Ball button is not allowed. If OTB is used, the player will either be given a warning or lose by forfeit at the referee’s sole discretion."

I heard this happened because some outcry of fifa newbies claimed that it is unfair, since they're not capable to control that nor make any defence from that.
The consequence is that all the veterans that already mastered the OTB ("Z" button in keyboard) will need to practise all over again after playing with it half a year.

So after this "Z" key is banned, skilled-player will able to rest more on their fourth finger, and some, little finger.

So let me re-introduce you the new keyboard controls for Fifa 2005.

    S - Pass / Switch Player
    D - Shoot / Conservative Tackle
    A - Lob / Aggresive Tackle
    W - Keeper Charge / Through Ball
    E - Sprint
    Q - Player Run / Call 2nd Defender
    Z - Off Ball Run / Surrender
    C - Modify

How about the Game Hints before the game starts?
    BEFORE:-

    PRESENT: -

Aiii... playing for so long already now only know that the button "Z" is not allowed!

Ok la... I am not going to participate in the coming Fifa 2005 anyway. Cause I can't resist myself from clicking the "Z" button.
Luckily I didn't waste the RM35 register fees and also no need to SIA SUI on the spot at WCG.

And now I can click click click... :P

    ZZZZZZZ!

    Wheel of Coffee

What you can learn from coffee?
    Taste?
    Aromas?

    Answer???
    Both, and more!

It is amazing that coffee can be grouped and divided into such a huge categories with various flavors, aromas, and tastes.

    What coffee you shouldn't miss?
    I recommend... (my favorite)

    1. Irish Coffee (with Irish Creme)
    2. Italian Coffee (with Amaretto)

Of course, it is better when you taste your coffee with liquor under a peferct environment...
like... with dim brownish light, quiet, cool temperature, a small group of friends, and a band that sings sentimental classic songs...

Please recommend me any places like this since i missed this perfect scene 2 years ago.
My favorite place was in Genting Highland, a bar named something like "Torres" or what la... not so sure about the name...
However the bar undergo a change long time ago, like the stage was moved, and the band as well.

    A Precious Human Life

" Everyday, think as you wake up,
today I am fortunate to have woken up,
I am alive, I have a precious human life,
I am not going to waste it.
    I am going to use
all my energy to develop myself.
To expand my heart out of others,
    to achieve enlightenment for
    the benefit of all beings.
I am going to have kind
    thoughts towards others,
I am not going to get angry,
    or think badly about others,
I am going to benefit others
    as much as i can"

    My Giant Polaroid - 2

    Quote
    Juei said...
that's cool. If you happen to meet your favourite celebrity on the street you can snap a photo of him/her and get him/her to sign on the spot. :D

After reading my dear cousin sister's comment about how useful the polaroid is,
I started to think of which celebrity i can probably meet on the street?

    However,
I think I rather not carrying this bulky palaroid, hanging around town, searching for celebrity to take a snap... people will think that i m carrying a remote bomb to blast out bukit bintang monorail station, i guess..

Futhermore, i think the probability of

  • getting shot in pasar malam

  • obtaining an AP permit

  • receiving punches from certain police forces

  • a declaration as a developed state

  • getting caught inside LRT

  • listening to someone screaming "Racist!"

  • having 50 MPs in Parliment

  • are probably higher than meeting a celebrity on the streets...
    so what for?

    My Giant Polaroid

While i was searching for my electric gate box key... i found something really interesting in an old drawer...
    ===> a Polaroid camera...
Inserted some batteries to try whether it is still "breathing" or "alive"... and it does!!!

Gonna try it after I buy the photo catridge...
    I heard it is expensive...
but... hmmm... just try once la.. hahaha

    isn't it lovely?
ok la... it's bulky... but still lovely for me!
    great discovery... :)

    WCG: Participate Again?

The World Cyber Games 2005 is approaching very soon around mid to late August...
I was thinking whether I should participate again?
That would be the 3rd time if I do in this coming event...

    1st time in 2003, played Fifa2003 -- ended Finale 32
2nd time in 2004, played Fifa2004 -- ended in Group Stage
    3rd time in 2005, playing Fifa2005 -- ended ???

Actually I don't have any confident to reach a higher rank because I don't really have time to play and practise...
Futhermore, something more important is, I don't have a good competitor or trainer to practise...
I am still wondering how am I able to win in the Fifa2005 Klang match few months ago...
Feel really "SHIOK" when I poach the champion... Hahaha!

Wondering anyone in Klang Valley is going to participate in WCG Fifa2005...
If live near... then can pratise together lo...

    Ametabolic Boring Condition

    Everyday is almost the same...

A same day to trap in the traffic jam...
A same day to countdown the clock whether will be late or not...
A same day to get a free parking space...
A same day to order the delicious meal from the cocky food hawker...
A same day to attend classes or meetings without high spirit...
A same day to yawning around whole day...
A same day to feel weird since after yawning 1 whole day, you can't sleep at night...
A same day to skip bathing...
A same day to think about life without taking action...
A same day to plan for the next exercise schedule...
A same day to browse around the blog world to see what to copy on my blog...
A same day to learn to be a loser...

A same day to know the blue sky is always out there...
A same day to know the blue sky is outside the window,
    and i am inside...

Maybe... another day, some day, to fly up high...
